The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Heitor Dantas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Bensax's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SJÖARED the free kick. FC Bensax's Linus Västerstrand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sture Göransson in the 5th minute of play. After 6 played minutes SJÖARED got a freekick which was hit by Helge Gustafsson. Linus Västerstrand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sture Göransson in the 8th minute of play. Sture Göransson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Linus Västerstrand came out and tried to block the shot, but Sture Göransson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. In the 17th minute Sture Göransson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Linus Västerstrand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Linus Västerstrand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Hellström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Linus Västerstrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sture Göransson in the 21st minute of the match. Linus Västerstrand was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Gunnar Hellström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gunnar Hellström really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. A collision led to SJÖARED getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Karl-Oskar Lundberg hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Sture Göransson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Linus Västerstrand was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. 35 minutes into the game, Sture Göransson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Linus Västerstrand. Sture Göransson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sture Göransson got free with Linus Västerstrand in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 5-0 became the score in the 42nd minute when Sture Göransson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 46 minutes in the game, Sture Göransson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Linus Västerstrand having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simon Malmström made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilhelm Lidman in the 51st minute of play forced FC Bensax's goalkeeper Linus Västerstrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The SJÖARED fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when SJÖARED's Sture Göransson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Sture Göransson sped through FC Bensax's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Linus Västerstrand. SJÖARED's Ola Hansson was substituted for Tim Hellbom. Linus Västerstrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sture Göransson in the 61st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sture Göransson in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Linus Västerstrand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Sture Göransson sped through FC Bensax's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Linus Västerstrand. 65 minutes into the game, SJÖARED's Vilhelm Lidman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Linus Västerstrand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. SJÖARED made a substitution. Isak Qvarnström replaced Vilhelm Lidman. SJÖARED made a substitution. Urban Rudberg replaced Sture Göransson. In the 69th minute, Helge Gustafsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SJÖARED fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. Jens Bohlin hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. When SJÖARED's Urban Rudberg in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Bensax's goalie prevented a goal. After 74 minutes FC Bensax's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roger Bålström who took care of the corner kick. 78 minutes into the match, FC Bensax's goal looked a bit too open when Urban Rudberg came free, but Linus Västerstrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When SJÖARED's Urban Rudberg in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Bensax's goalie prevented a goal. In the 84th minute SJÖARED were awarded a corner. Roger Bålström went to the cornerflag to take it. After 87 minutes of play, SJÖARED's Helge Gustafsson made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Linus Västerstrand was left in no man's land by his defense there! Urban Rudberg took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Linus Västerstrand. Linus Västerstrand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 13-0. There was no doubt that SJÖARED were the better team. SJÖARED's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
