The supporters of Sällskapet BK booed when Arvika BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alican Ünverdi didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Krister Dahlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 39 minutes into the match, Arvika BF's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Erik Nilsson came free, but Higino Conde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd play minute Esbjörn Strand came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Higino Conde. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Krister Dahlberg to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Jonas Ståhlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stellan Söderberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higino Conde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Erik Nilsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute of the match, Geoff Monk got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stellan Söderberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Higino Conde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Risto Mihailovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 60 minutes, Risto Mihailovski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sällskapet BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Risto Mihailovski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arvika BF's Higino Conde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Danielsson in the 74th minute of play.
