In the 6thth minute of the game Per-Oskar Hammarberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ödsmål's Sven-Åke Wallander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ödsmål's Sven-Åke Wallander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Haraldsson in the 10th minute of play. If Patrick Andersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the game, Karl Bergman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ödsmål's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IFK Norrköping the free kick. 21 minutes into the match, Per-Oskar Hammarberg notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ödsmål's Sven-Åke Wallander. Sven-Åke Wallander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 25th minute, Cristian Spelbu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Ödsmål's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Andersson came free, but Sven-Åke Wallander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Ödsmål was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Vinström to maneuver through the defense. When Staffan Jansson came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Ödsmål fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Staffan Jansson couldn't finish the play. Sven-Åke Wallander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Oskar Hammarberg in the 35th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mathias Haraldsson in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Åke Wallander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The attack was good, but when Mathias Haraldsson in the 37th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 39 minutes into the match, Mathias Haraldsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven-Åke Wallander. Ödsmål's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mathias Haraldsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 43rd minute Per-Oskar Hammarberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Åke Wallander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Sven-Åke Wallander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Haraldsson in the 51st minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Ödsmål's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Oskar Hammarberg came free, but Sven-Åke Wallander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Per-Oskar Hammarberg in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Åke Wallander saved Ödsmål from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Mathias Haraldsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. IFK Norrköping's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathias Haraldsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Åke Wallander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jörgen Strömberg scored 0-4 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven-Åke Wallander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. IFK Norrköping made a substitution. Vilhelm Alebeck replaced Gösta Holmberg. IFK Norrköping's Kaj Forssell was substituted for Cent Salomonsen. IFK Norrköping's Jörgen Strömberg got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Per-Oskar Hammarberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sven-Åke Wallander came out and tried to block the shot, but Per-Oskar Hammarberg slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 71st minute. Ödsmål's Sven-Åke Wallander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Ödsmål from getting a goal against them. 79 minutes into the game, IFK Norrköping's Per-Oskar Hammarberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven-Åke Wallander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Sven-Åke Wallander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match was over IFK Norrköping could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ödsmål throughout the match.
