Marieheim Mighty Moose's Şentürk Kahya got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörgen Strömberg in the 8th minute of play forced Marieheim Mighty Moose's goalkeeper Duda de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute Per-Oskar Hammarberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duda de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Sven-Arne Törnqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marieheim Mighty Moose's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IFK Norrköping the free kick. In the 11th match minute, Marieheim Mighty Moose was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Arne Törnqvist to maneuver through the defense. Frank Schubert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Barnaba Ziomkowski made a huge save. In the 14th minute of the match Marieheim Mighty Moose got a corner. IFK Norrköping's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Snorre Slangens ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Marieheim Mighty Moose's Snorre Slangens to fire away a dangerous shot which Barnaba Ziomkowski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 18 minutes of play, IFK Norrköping's Viggo Svanström made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duda de Queiroz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of IFK Norrköping booed when Marieheim Mighty Moose was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristoffer Axelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Duda de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Holmberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. With a little luck, IFK Norrköping's Barnaba Ziomkowski got control of the ball when Frank Schubert tried to sneak it across the goal line. 0-2 became the score in the 28th minute when Per-Oskar Hammarberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Marieheim Mighty Moose's Barnaba Ziomkowski threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pål Mattsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the Marieheim Mighty Moose defense, Per-Oskar Hammarberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Duda de Queiroz. The Marieheim Mighty Moose fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Duda de Queiroz should have stopped the shot. 41 minutes into the game, Per-Oskar Hammarberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Duda de Queiroz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 43rd minute, Mathias Haraldsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. IFK Norrköping's Elliot Cane got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Marieheim Mighty Moose getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Kevin Jelm hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörgen Strömberg in the 47th minute of play forced Marieheim Mighty Moose's goalkeeper Duda de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Marieheim Mighty Moose players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. IFK Norrköping were winning 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Schubert to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Marieheim Mighty Moose's zone, Mathias Haraldsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duda de Queiroz came out of the goal and Mathias Haraldsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barnaba Ziomkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pål Mattsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute of the match, Per-Oskar Hammarberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Duda de Queiroz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Patrick Andersson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Duda de Queiroz made a huge save. Jörgen Strömberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. IFK Norrköping's Vilhelm Alebeck was substituted for Gösta Holmberg. IFK Norrköping made a substitution. Kaj Forssell replaced Cent Salomonsen. In the 64th minute, Kevin Jelm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Barnaba Ziomkowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. 68 minutes into the match, Pål Mattsson notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of IFK Norrköping's Barnaba Ziomkowski. Barnaba Ziomkowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marieheim Mighty Moose's Duda de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Oskar Hammarberg in the 71st minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Mathias Haraldsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Duda de Queiroz however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Oskar Hammarberg in the 75th minute of play forced Marieheim Mighty Moose's goalkeeper Duda de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When IFK Norrköping's Per-Oskar Hammarberg in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind IFK Norrköping's goalkeeper Barnaba Ziomkowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Per-Oskar Hammarberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duda de Queiroz having to interfere. After 88 played minutes IFK Norrköping got a freekick which was hit by Per-Oskar Hammarberg. Duda de Queiroz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mathias Haraldsson in the 90th minute. After a rather tough play, Marieheim Mighty Moose's Frank Schubert got a free kick in the 90th minute. IFK Norrköping's Barnaba Ziomkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pål Mattsson in the 92nd minute of play. Marieheim Mighty Moose's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Snorre Slangens in the 94th minute. When the match was over IFK Norrköping could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Marieheim Mighty Moose throughout the match.
