Malmö FF's Herman Bohlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Sundling in the 5th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gränden FK's zone, Haroldo Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Åke Dahlgren came out of the goal and Haroldo Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Haroldo Vale put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jan-Åke Dahlgren. After a defensive mix-up in Gränden FK's zone, Mattias Eriksson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Åke Dahlgren came out of the goal and Mattias Eriksson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Malmö FF fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Malmö FF's Haroldo Vale looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 22 minutes into the match, Malmö FF's goalkeeper Herman Bohlin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexander Sundling. With a little luck, Malmö FF's Herman Bohlin got control of the ball when Elliot Busk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Herman Bohlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börge Apelkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the game, Alexander Sundling cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Herman Bohlin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Herman Bohlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börge Apelkvist in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Gränden FK's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Eriksson came free, but Jan-Åke Dahlgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Åke Dahlgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Haroldo Vale made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Gränden FK's Alexander Sundling got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 53rd match minute, Gränden FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Magnus Vallin to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Haroldo Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malmö FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Haroldo Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Åke Dahlgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Malmö FF's Mattias Eriksson got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan-Åke Dahlgren made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Mattias Eriksson sent off a good shot on target. Elliot Busk charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elliot Busk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Gränden FK's Elliot Busk got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Haroldo Vale notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Gränden FK's Jan-Åke Dahlgren. Jan-Åke Dahlgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Haroldo Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan-Åke Dahlgren was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Börge Apelkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
