Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Manuel Jacob started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Jacob in the 5th minute of play forced Smögenasd's goalkeeper Torsten Melberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 6 minutes, Manuel Jacob mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Gräsplan and the Smögenasd players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 6 played minutes FC Gräsplan got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Jacob. A collision led to FC Gräsplan getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Leonard Bern hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Birger Hermansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Smögenasd getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Andy Ekegren hit a great ball. Torsten Melberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Dahlberg in the 18th minute of play. Torsten Melberg came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Gräsplan's Jesper Brodin. But to his dismay, Jesper Brodin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 27 minutes into the game, FC Gräsplan's Manuel Jacob nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torsten Melberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 35 minutes into the match, Smögenasd's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Bern came free, but Torsten Melberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonard Bern took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Torsten Melberg. Torsten Melberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 41st minute, Manuel Jacob left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Gräsplan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Torsten Melberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesper Brodin in the 46th minute of play.

51 minutes into the match, Smögenasd's goal looked a bit too open when Jesper Brodin came free, but Torsten Melberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Smögenasd's zone, Leonard Bern stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torsten Melberg came out of the goal and Leonard Bern tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Gräsplan's Anton Lundqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustav Sjöström in the 57th minute of play. After 57 played minutes FC Gräsplan got a freekick which was hit by Georg Dahlberg. After 61 played minutes Smögenasd got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Hjortsberg. In the 67th match minute, Smögenasd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustav Sjöström to maneuver through the defense. Jesper Brodin's late challenge caught a Smögenasd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jesper Brodin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Gräsplan's Jesper Brodin got a free kick in the 68th minute. Torsten Melberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesper Brodin in the 78th minute of the match. Leonard Bern received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Torsten Melberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Smögenasd getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Birger Hermansson hit a great ball. Andy Ekegren hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Manuel Jacob fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Melberg having to interfere. In the 86th minute Sven-Ove Britz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesper Brodin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Torsten Melberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Jesper Brodin slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 88th minute. When the match was over FC Gräsplan could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Smögenasd throughout the match.
