Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jörn Böcklund made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6th minute Kristian Granqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Melberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, Kaj Jespersson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Torsten Melberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Torsten Melberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kristian Granqvist went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 17 minutes into the match, Felix Vennerström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Torsten Melberg. Smögenasd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Vennerström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Torsten Melberg came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Saltö BK's Kristian Granqvist. But to his dismay, Kristian Granqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. After some careless play in the Smögenasd defense, Kristian Granqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torsten Melberg. The Smögenasd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torsten Melberg should have stopped the shot. Boris Biörling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Sven Svensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Saltö BK's Felix Vennerström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Torsten Melberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Smögenasd's Torsten Melberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristian Granqvist in the 40th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Smögenasd's Anders Björklund seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Anders Björklund the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Smögenasd protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Anders Björklund had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Smögenasd's Anders Björklund got a free kick in the 48th minute. The Smögenasd players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Saltö BK were winning 0-7.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felix Vennerström to make the kick off. Sven Svensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Ove Britz in the 53rd minute of the match. Erland Allbom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Torsten Melberg made a huge save. Saltö BK's Sven Svensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörn Böcklund in the 57th minute of play. Torsten Melberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Vennerström in the 67th minute. A collision led to Saltö BK getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Aron Tunander hit a great ball. Jörn Böcklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erland Allbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Torsten Melberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristian Granqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute Kristian Granqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Melberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th match minute, Smögenasd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunnar Hjortsberg to maneuver through the defense. Aron Tunander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Torsten Melberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristian Granqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saltö BK's Sven Svensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörn Böcklund in the 81st minute of play. Jörn Böcklund kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Felix Vennerström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saltö BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Vennerström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torsten Melberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felix Vennerström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saltö BK played a much better game than Smögenasd and deserved their victory. The Smögenasd players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
