After 11 minutes, Birger Hermansson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Smögenasd and the FC Loosers players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th minute, Birger Hermansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kåre Asklund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute, Ludwig Ström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Holger Viberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When FC Loosers's Kåre Asklund in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Smögenasd's Birger Hermansson got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 37 minutes into the match, Smögenasd's goal looked a bit too open when Holger Viberg came free, but Torsten Melberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
A collision led to Smögenasd getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Gustav Sjöström hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute, FC Loosers's Kåre Asklund dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Sverker Bengtsson took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Torsten Melberg. Torsten Melberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Virgilio Espiridion got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. FC Loosers's Kåre Asklund was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 70th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. FC Loosers were furious when Albert Kvalfält was red carded, 74 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of FC Loosers:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Smögenasd:s goal. In the 79th minute, Kåre Asklund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Ove Britz in the 81st minute of play forced FC Loosers's goalkeeper Emil Alebom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Virgilio Espiridion fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Loosers's protests and gave Virgilio Espiridion a yellow card for diving instead. Virgilio Espiridion kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Kåre Asklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Torsten Melberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gunnar Hjortsberg charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gunnar Hjortsberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Loosers booed when Smögenasd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunnar Hjortsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Rudi Stegeman from long distance, 91 minutes into the match, got Torsten Melberg's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The supporters of Smögenasd booed when FC Loosers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Espiridion didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute Jörn Böcklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Alebom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Smögenasd defense, Ludwig Ström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torsten Melberg. The Smögenasd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torsten Melberg should have stopped the shot.
