Sören Fransson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 82nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. BK Häcken's Dirk-Jan Koole played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sören Fransson in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Olov Björklund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. BK Häcken fully deserved thier win.
