Liverpool FC were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Pensionat Paradiset IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alfred Van Mechelen took the corner. The corner led Liverpool FC's Alfred Van Mechelen to fire away a dangerous shot which Ronny Ravelli despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Algot Bengtsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rasmus Blom, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Pensionat Paradiset IF's Filippo Di Croce got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute Karl-Erik Lägdin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Ravelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pensionat Paradiset IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alfred Van Mechelen was slow to take the kick. During this time Liverpool FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Alfred Van Mechelen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pensionat Paradiset IF's Ronny Ravelli did a great save. In the 26th match minute, Liverpool FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Granström to maneuver through the defense. Liverpool FC's Algot Bengtsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eray Tur in the 32nd minute of play. After 36 minutes of play, Pensionat Paradiset IF's Filippo Di Croce made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Algot Bengtsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pensionat Paradiset IF's Ronny Ravelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Pensionat Paradiset IF from getting a goal against them. 41 minutes into the match, Pensionat Paradiset IF's goalkeeper Ronny Ravelli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frans Enegren. Gustav Ekström kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Ronny Ravelli made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Frans Enegren sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute of the match Liverpool FC got a corner. Pensionat Paradiset IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alfred Van Mechelen ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Pensionat Paradiset IF's Eray Tur got a free kick in the 47th minute. Liverpool FC's Alfred Van Mechelen shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 48th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ronny Ravelli but with some difficulty. 48 minutes into the match it was 1-2 when Alfred Van Mechelen shot a long shot which zipped by Pensionat Paradiset IF's goalkeeper at the right pole. The Liverpool FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pensionat Paradiset IF were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filippo Di Croce was the one to do the kick off. Algot Bengtsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rasmus Blom in the 54th minute of the match. Pensionat Paradiset IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ivan Allbom in the 55th minute. Pensionat Paradiset IF's Rasmus Blom was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Algot Bengtsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 59 minutes Liverpool FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ivan Allbom who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Pensionat Paradiset IF's corner Ivan Allbom fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Algot Bengtsson quite easily take care of the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Algot Bengtsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filippo Di Croce. In the 64thth minute of the game Frans Enegren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pensionat Paradiset IF's Ronny Ravelli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Filippo Di Croce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pensionat Paradiset IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filippo Di Croce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Pensionat Paradiset IF getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Eray Tur hit a great ball. Ronny Ravelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frans Enegren in the 77th minute of play. Pensionat Paradiset IF's Ronny Ravelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Van Mechelen in the 78th minute of play. Algot Bengtsson made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Filippo Di Croce sent off a good shot on target. 85 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Algot Bengtsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filippo Di Croce. Ronny Ravelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frans Enegren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 played minutes Liverpool FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Van Mechelen. Rasmus Blom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Algot Bengtsson made a huge save. The supporters of Liverpool FC booed when Pensionat Paradiset IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ethan De Fremeaux didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Pensionat Paradiset IF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pensionat Paradiset IF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
