Olle Sundberg hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Algot Bengtsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvar Aspengren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Liverpool FC defense, Leonard Blomqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Algot Bengtsson. The Liverpool FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Algot Bengtsson should have stopped the shot. Kanaryalar succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Liverpool FC had controlled the match.
