The referee ignored FC Karlskoga's protests and gave Remigiusz Tomaszewski a yellow card for diving instead. 6 minutes into the match, Gunnar Hellström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar Finsberg. FC Karlskoga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gunnar Hellström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Chimpanserna FC's Edmund Majman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Chimpanserna FC from getting a goal against them. Chimpanserna FC's Rickard Wallengren managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tor Rolfsson in the 11 minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Karlskoga's Karl-Johan Bocklund slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edmund Majman. That made the score 1-1 after 12 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Chan in the 18th minute of play forced Chimpanserna FC's goalkeeper Edmund Majman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Gustav Törnblom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karl-Johan Bocklund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Edmund Majman made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in FC Karlskoga's zone, Gunnar Hellström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Finsberg came out of the goal and Gunnar Hellström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rune Utfal might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgar Finsberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rune Utfal ran back to his position shaking his head. 30 minutes into the match, FC Karlskoga's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Hellström came free, but Edgar Finsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gunnar Hellström in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Finsberg saved FC Karlskoga from getting behind. Egon Rudkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Egon Rudkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Chimpanserna FC's Egon Rudkvist got a free kick in the 39th minute. FC Karlskoga's Edgar Finsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Hellström in the 42nd minute of play. Edgar Finsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Hellström in the 44th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gunnar Hellström to strike the kick off in the second half. Karl-Johan Bocklund took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmund Majman. Edmund Majman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 53rd match minute, FC Karlskoga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Johan Bocklund to maneuver through the defense. Rickard Wallengren hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Rickard Wallengren kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Rune Utfal notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of FC Karlskoga's Edgar Finsberg. Edgar Finsberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 62nd match minute, Chimpanserna FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Almkvist to maneuver through the defense. Gunnar Hellströms short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Edgar Finsberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 65 minutes into the game, Gunnar Hellström lined in a short shot 2-3 behind a frustrated Edgar Finsberg. Gunnar Hellström struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Edgar Finsberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chimpanserna FC. In the 86th match minute, Chimpanserna FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egon Rudkvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute Gunnar Hellström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Finsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle went the supporters of Chimpanserna FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant FC Karlskoga side.
