Chimpanserna FC were furious when Sten Godholm was red carded, 33 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. With a little luck, Fågelmara IK's Olov Lilja got control of the ball when Douglas Jakobsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Fågelmara IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olov Lilja should have stopped the shot. 73 minutes into the match, Chimpanserna FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Ekelund came free, but Edmund Majman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olov Lilja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Hellström in the 75th minute of play. Everardo Lopes ran over to the corner to take the kick. Olov Lilja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Hellström in the 92nd minute of the match. Håkan Adelsköld made in the 94th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gustaf Holmgren however managed to control.
