Herbert Thorsberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 14th minute Lionel Riquelme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Thorsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Blubb FF's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Strandberg came free, but Matthias Möllgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Sten Lundblad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthias Möllgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blubb FF's Matthias Möllgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Strandberg in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Blubb FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo Caspersson to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Thomas Falk sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Blubb FF's Matthias Möllgren didn't even have to move. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Man United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Blubb FF:s goal. Man United:s Herbert Thorsberg showed great skill when he stopped Vicco Manuel:s penalty. 27 minutes into the match, Vicco Manuel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herbert Thorsberg. Man United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vicco Manuel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Herbert Thorsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eskuin Monteros, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Blubb FF's zone, Mattias Strandberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matthias Möllgren came out of the goal and Mattias Strandberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eskuin Monteros in the 34th minute of play forced Man United's goalkeeper Herbert Thorsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 played minutes Man United got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Strandberg. 37 minutes into the match, Man United's goal looked a bit too open when Eskuin Monteros came free, but Herbert Thorsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Blubb FF's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Roberto Cavalcante came free, but Matthias Möllgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vitório Ribeiro got free with Herbert Thorsberg in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st minute Eskuin Monteros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Thorsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lionel Riquelme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Herbert Thorsberg made a huge save. Paul Örn charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paul Örn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Man United's Paul Örn got a free kick in the 44th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vitório Ribeiro was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Blubb FF booed when Man United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Roberto Cavalcante didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute Vitório Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Thorsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Åke Ekeroth hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Herbert Thorsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitório Ribeiro in the 60th minute of the match. Man United's Herbert Thorsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eskuin Monteros in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, Man United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sten Lundblad to maneuver through the defense. When Man United's Zé Roberto Cavalcante in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Blubb FF's goalie prevented a goal. Herbert Thorsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eskuin Monteros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Vitório Ribeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herbert Thorsberg was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. After 80 minutes, Vitório Ribeiro made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Man United's Herbert Thorsberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Blubb FF's Alex Myhr was substituted for Vitório Ribeiro. With his leg Matthias Möllgren managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Man United's Sten Lundblad fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Herbert Thorsberg came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Blubb FF's Lionel Riquelme. But to his dismay, Lionel Riquelme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1.
