Claes Stenström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 11 minutes into the game, Linus Moberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Frans Engström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frans Engström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Kalfhage, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bertil Zachrisson lost his temper 21 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The crowd rose to their feet as PAK's Nils-Erik Odeen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Claes Stenström. That made the score 4-1 after 26 minutes of play. Albert Skräddare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frans Engström having to interfere. Frölundaboys's Claes Stenström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Emil Asklöv in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes in the game Albert Skräddare did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Roy Offendahl. In the 38th minute, Nils-Emil Asklöv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

Frans Engström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Skräddare in the 50th minute of the match. Leif Ekrot kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute of the match Egil Stålman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claes Stenström skillfully saved the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Frölundaboys's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Erik Odeen came free, but Claes Stenström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PAK's Frans Engström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Offendahl in the 57th minute of play. Linus Moberg struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Frans Engström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frölundaboys. In the 65th minute, Roy Offendahl made a precise shot to the right of Frans Engström. PAK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils-Erik Odeen in the 68th minute of play forced Frölundaboys's goalkeeper Claes Stenström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claes Stenström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Erik Odeen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Nils-Erik Odeen made a precise shot to the right of Claes Stenström. Frölundaboys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. The supporters of PAK booed when Frölundaboys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Vennerlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claes Stenström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Lund, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Claes Stenström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Erik Odeen in the 91st minute of the match. Linus Moberg charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Linus Moberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Linus Moberg hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Frölundaboys's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
