After 6 played minutes Fluminense got a freekick which was hit by Georg Öberg. Valdemar Springfält was a little too slow when Bertil Persson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 13th minute, Victorino Oto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ⒻC SⓌAG fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 17th minute Victorino Oto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdemar Springfält saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdemar Springfält made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Oto in the 18th minute of play. Fluminense's Valdemar Springfält played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Oto in the 20th minute of play. Sven Stenman hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Fluminense's Bradagain Baadegaard got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Valdemar Springfält made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertil Persson in the 24th minute. Bertil Persson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valdemar Springfält read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Valdemar Springfält showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Oto in the 28th minute of the match. ⒻC SⓌAG were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Fluminense's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Federico Gotzon took the corner. After taking down the ball on ⒻC SⓌAG's corner Federico Gotzon fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Valdemar Springfält quite easily take care of the ball. In the 30th minute Victorino Oto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdemar Springfält saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, ⒻC SⓌAG's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Österlund came free, but Henrik Sjögren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ⒻC SⓌAG's Henrik Sjögren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apal Olmedo in the 36th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bradagain Baadegaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrik Sjögren was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Fluminense's Valdemar Springfält proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Fluminense from getting a goal against them. Henrik Sjögren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradagain Baadegaard in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Georg Öberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdemar Springfält made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertil Persson in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bradagain Baadegaard to make the kick off. Victorino Oto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 53 played minutes ⒻC SⓌAG got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Lund. In the 56th minute, Eddie Trulsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nils Österlund's late challenge caught a ⒻC SⓌAG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nils Österlund helped the player get up and apologised. Nils Österlund kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Oto in the 69th minute of play forced Fluminense's goalkeeper Valdemar Springfält to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdemar Springfält showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Oto in the 70th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorino Oto in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdemar Springfält saved Fluminense from getting behind. In the 72nd match minute, Fluminense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sture Bergfeldt to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute of the match Karl-Axel Gulliksson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valdemar Springfält skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to ⒻC SⓌAG getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Bertil Persson hit a great ball. ⒻC SⓌAG made a substitution. Bo Smefeldt replaced Herman Vedholm. Bertil Persson hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the game, ⒻC SⓌAG's Victorino Oto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdemar Springfält made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Valdemar Springfält showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Oto, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute Apal Olmedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrik Sjögren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90thth minute of the game Bertil Persson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fluminense's Valdemar Springfält was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Fluminense booed when ⒻC SⓌAG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torbjörn Wiberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. ⒻC SⓌAG made a substitution. Östen Bengtsson replaced Bertil Persson. After 92 played minutes ⒻC SⓌAG got a freekick which was hit by Torbjörn Wiberg. In the 94th minute, Bradagain Baadegaard fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Valdemar Springfält showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Östen Bengtsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
