Gunnar Drewitzs short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Adrian Brenner to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Adrian Brenner was a little too slow when Eric Österlund got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-5. 62 minutes into the match, Republic of Jämtland's goalkeeper Adrian Brenner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emran Yeten. Adrian Brenner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eric Österlund in the 63rd minute. The supporters of Republic of Jämtland booed when Galatasaray SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Åke Duset didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Galatasaray SK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Republic of Jämtland throughout the match.
