Spectators: 7729 (Terracing: 5798, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 154) Groose FC's Jens-Ove Söderqvist started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes of play, Galatasaray SK's Gunnar Drewitz made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stellan Abelsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Henning Sundberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Söderqvist in the 7th minute of play. Groose FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Emran Yeten scored to the left of an out of position Stellan Abelsson, making the score, 2-0. Stellan Abelsson made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Mieszko Piechna sent off a good shot on target. Samuel Sellberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Stellan Abelsson made a huge save. Groose FC's Jens-Ove Söderqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute Mieszko Piechna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stellan Abelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Sellberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Stellan Abelsson made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wiktor Söderqvist during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes Groose FC got a freekick which was hit by Wiktor Söderqvist. The crowd rose to their feet as Mieszko Piechna kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stellan Abelsson. That made the score 4-0 in the 35 minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Samuel Sellberg notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Groose FC's Stellan Abelsson. Stellan Abelsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Groose FC's Stellan Abelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mieszko Piechna in the 42nd minute of play. Henning Sundberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harald Tomasson in the 46th minute of the match.

Groose FC's Stellan Abelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Sellberg in the 52nd minute of play. Stellan Abelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mieszko Piechna in the 57th minute of the match. After having played for 58 minutes, Ludvig Lundin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galatasaray SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ludvig Lundin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Groose FC defense, Mieszko Piechna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stellan Abelsson. The Groose FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stellan Abelsson should have stopped the shot. Sven-Arne Forsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stellan Abelsson having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Groose FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emran Yeten came free, but Stellan Abelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stellan Abelsson came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Galatasaray SK's Mieszko Piechna. But to his dismay, Mieszko Piechna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Mieszko Piechna scored 8-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stellan Abelsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stellan Abelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Sellberg in the 84th minute of play. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Samuel Sellberg sped through Groose FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stellan Abelsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Arne Forsberg in the 92nd minute of play forced Groose FC's goalkeeper Stellan Abelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Groose FC's Wiktor Söderqvist got a free kick in the 93rd minute. If Sven-Arne Forsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Galatasaray SK were the better team. Galatasaray SK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
