After a defensive mix-up in Ankeborgs Plättarna's zone, Esbjörn Engström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Krister Svanér came out of the goal and Esbjörn Engström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Allan Hammarberg in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Krister Svanér, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With his leg Krister Svanér managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Screaming Eagles's Allan Hammarberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Krister Svanér showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Hammarberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Krister Svanér made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Hammarberg in the 12th minute of play. If Jens-Ove Näver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Snorre Ollongren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Back, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Ankeborgs Plättarna were awarded a corner. Åke Back went to the cornerflag to take it. When Åke Back came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Ankeborgs Plättarna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Åke Back couldn't finish the play. Jens-Ove Näver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jens-Ove Näver in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Snorre Ollongren saved Screaming Eagles from getting behind. A throw-in in the 28th minute of the game was made by Sven-Ove Skager with Emanuel Pihlwall as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. A collision led to Screaming Eagles getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Sven-Ove Skager hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Jens-Ove Näver left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ankeborgs Plättarna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The supporters of Screaming Eagles booed when Ankeborgs Plättarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Back didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Alexander Wallmark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ankeborgs Plättarna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Wallmark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jens-Ove Näver to make the kick off. Jens-Ove Näver's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Snorre Ollongren firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 52nd minute, Ankeborgs Plättarna's Jens-Ove Näver ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Snorre Ollongren. Snorre Ollongren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. After 63 minutes, Åke Back mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ankeborgs Plättarna and the Screaming Eagles players grew even worse after the yellow card. Åke Back kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 64 played minutes Ankeborgs Plättarna got a freekick which was hit by Åke Back. 67 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Ankeborgs Plättarna's Jens-Ove Näver fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. With a little luck, Screaming Eagles's Snorre Ollongren got control of the ball when Åke Back tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ronny Åkerström kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Allan Hammarberg's late challenge caught a Ankeborgs Plättarna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Allan Hammarberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd match minute, Screaming Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Hammarberg to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Pihlwall charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Pihlwall the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Screaming Eagles getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Emanuel Pihlwall hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the game, Jens-Ove Näver cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Snorre Ollongren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Allan Hammarberg in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Krister Svanér prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
