In the 21st minute, Screaming Eagles's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Måns Löfgren fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpected shot in the 25th minute by Erik Albäck got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience was convinced that Erik Albäck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Snorre Ollongren was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 31st minute of the match, Valentin Blom tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Snorre Ollongren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Erik Albäck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laxå IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Erik Albäck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Snorre Ollongren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
