Spectators: 7727 (Terracing: 5796, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 154) Mieszko Piechna started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Snorre Ollongren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olof Asplund in the 2nd minute. After 6 minutes, Allan Hammarberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Screaming Eagles and the Galatasaray SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 8 minutes, Mieszko Piechna made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Screaming Eagles's Snorre Ollongren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th minute of the match, Samuel Sellberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Snorre Ollongren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 17 minutes into the match, Mieszko Piechna notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Screaming Eagles's Snorre Ollongren. Snorre Ollongren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Snorre Ollongren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Sellberg in the 19th minute of the match. Harald Utter was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 21st minute. Galatasaray SK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Galatasaray SK's Mieszko Piechna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Snorre Ollongren. That made the score 3-0 after 23 minutes of play. Snorre Ollongren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Sellberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 29 minutes Screaming Eagles's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Olof Asplund who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Samuel Sellberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Snorre Ollongren quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Samuel Sellberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Snorre Ollongren was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Samuel Sellberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galatasaray SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Sellberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Snorre Ollongren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Mieszko Piechna kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Snorre Ollongren. That made the score 4-0 in the 36 minute of play. After having played for 44 minutes, Olof Asplund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galatasaray SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olof Asplund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Olof Asplund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Allan Hammarberg made a kick off. Snorre Ollongren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mieszko Piechna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 54 minutes Screaming Eagles's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Olof Asplund who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Olof Asplund got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Snorre Ollongren quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Snorre Ollongren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emran Yeten in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Olof Asplund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Galatasaray SK's Ludvig Lundin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Snorre Ollongren in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mieszko Piechna succeeded in the game's 71st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. In the 79th minute, Sven-Ove Skager hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 80 minutes of play, Galatasaray SK's Ludvig Lundin made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Snorre Ollongren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Samuel Sellberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronny Åkerström kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörgen Lange in the 96th minute of play forced Screaming Eagles's goalkeeper Snorre Ollongren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Galatasaray SK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
