Spectators: 7722 (Terracing: 5792, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 154) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Frank Hellström got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Doctors of Dental Surgery's Rasmus Gernberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erik Browald made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Rasmus Gernberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute, Ulrik Allbom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Doctors of Dental Surgery fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After having played for 20 minutes, Ulrik Allbom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Doctors of Dental Surgery's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulrik Allbom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erik Browald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Nordin in the 26th minute of the match. If Rasmus Gernberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Finspång FF's goal looked a bit too open when Ulrik Allbom came free, but Erik Browald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rasmus Gernberg came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Doctors of Dental Surgery fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rasmus Gernberg couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd minute, Rasmus Gernberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Doctors of Dental Surgery fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 38 minutes into the match, Rasmus Gernberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erik Browald. Finspång FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rasmus Gernberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 40th minute, Rasmus Gernberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Doctors of Dental Surgery's Ulrik Allbom got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Lennart Vacker fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Finspång FF's protests and gave Lennart Vacker a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Finspång FF's Lennart Vacker got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Rasmus Gernberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Browald having to interfere. After the first half Doctors of Dental Surgery were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulrik Allbom to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Ulrik Allbom made a precise shot to the right of Erik Browald. Finspång FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Finspång FF's attack was well implemented in the 59th minute, but when Torbjörn Vestlund was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Erik Browald successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Viktor Botvidsson struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Erik Browald didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Doctors of Dental Surgery. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjörn Vestlund in the 73rd minute of play forced Doctors of Dental Surgery's goalkeeper Oliver Lundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Doctors of Dental Surgery's Arne Nordin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. After a rather tough play, Doctors of Dental Surgery's Nils-Åke Hamnberg got a free kick in the 80th minute. Finspång FF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Rasmus Gernberg scored to the left of an out of position Erik Browald, making the score, 0-7. Erik Browald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rasmus Gernberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Viktor Botvidsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Erik Browald was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Doctors of Dental Surgery's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
