The corner ended in Fredrik Winström almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ankeborgs Plättarna's Krister Svanér did a great save. Krister Svanér took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Blom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erik Albäck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute, Erik Albäck made a precise shot to the right of Krister Svanér. Ankeborgs Plättarna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jens-Ove Näver in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Grep prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jens-Ove Näver who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Eric Grep when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Åke Back succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 28th playminute. Krister Svanér didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valentin Blom went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 37 minutes into the game, one of Laxå IK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Eric Grep, was totally fooled by Ankeborgs Plättarna's Jens-Ove Näver, who 38 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Åke Back received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Eric Grep tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jens-Ove Näver might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eric Grep. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jens-Ove Näver ran back to his position shaking his head. Åke Back might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eric Grep. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jens-Ove Näver to make the kick off. Laxå IK's Eric Grep played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Ove Näver in the 53rd minute of play. Erik Albäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Krister Svanér tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Silviano Abendano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jens-Ove Näver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Jens-Ove Näver sped through Laxå IK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eric Grep. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ankeborgs Plättarna's goalkeeper Krister Svanér, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Ankeborgs Plättarna getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Stig Malm hit a great ball. Laxå IK's Eric Grep played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludvig Svensson in the 93rd minute of play. Eric Grep didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jens-Ove Näver went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the Laxå IK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ankeborgs Plättarna.
