Åke Back who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Erik Browald when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Finspång FF's Erik Browald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Ove Näver in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute Ankeborgs Plättarna were awarded a corner. Åke Back went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Ankeborgs Plättarna's Alexander Wallmark to fire away a dangerous shot which Erik Browald despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Jens-Ove Näver sped through Finspång FF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Erik Browald. Jens-Ove Näver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ankeborgs Plättarna's Jens-Ove Näver in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 55 played minutes Finspång FF got a freekick which was hit by Jens Wiklund. Åke Back fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Browald having to interfere. Jens-Ove Näver's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erik Browald read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, Finspång FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Smed to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ankeborgs Plättarna booed when Finspång FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Wenerdahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ankeborgs Plättarna were furious when Robert Ingemarsson was red carded, 70 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Ankeborgs Plättarna getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Robert Ingemarsson hit a great ball. When Jens-Ove Näver came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Ankeborgs Plättarna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens-Ove Näver couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Jens-Ove Näver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ankeborgs Plättarna's supporters rose to their feet, but Jens-Ove Näver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erik Browald breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erik Browald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Näver in the 80th minute of play. Ankeborgs Plättarna's Ludvig Svensson pulled a muscle in his leg after 81 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Alfred Smed fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Silvestre Pacorro didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Ove Näver in the 87th minute of play forced Finspång FF's goalkeeper Erik Browald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ted Jonsson during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jens-Ove Näver struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Erik Browald didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ankeborgs Plättarna. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ankeborgs Plättarna had played much better football throughout.
