With a little luck, Screaming Eagles's Snorre Ollongren got control of the ball when Åke Back tried to sneak it across the goal line. Per Grubb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krister Svanér having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Jens-Ove Näver had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Snorre Ollongren. Screaming Eagles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jens-Ove Näver was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Jens-Ove Näver's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Snorre Ollongren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Snorre Ollongren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Näver in the 15th minute of play. Ludvig Svensson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Snorre Ollongren firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 18 played minutes Ludvig Svensson rounded Screaming Eagles's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. In the 30th minute Esbjörn Engström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krister Svanér saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Åke Back hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens-Ove Näver got free with Snorre Ollongren in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 39 played minutes Screaming Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Allan Hammarberg. Jens-Ove Näver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Snorre Ollongren having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jens-Ove Näver to make the kick off. Snorre Ollongren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Back, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute Screaming Eagles were awarded a corner. Emanuel Sundén went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Screaming Eagles's Emanuel Sundén to fire away a dangerous shot which Krister Svanér despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Emanuel Pihlwall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jens-Ove Näver in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Snorre Ollongren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sebastian Henriksson tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Snorre Ollongren. An unnecessary self made goal, 5-0 in the 71st minute. Jens-Ove Näver struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Snorre Ollongren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ankeborgs Plättarna. Snorre Ollongren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jens-Ove Näver's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. When the referee ended the match the Ankeborgs Plättarna players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
