Ulrik Allbom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Krister Svanér read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. In the 11th minute Rasmus Gernberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krister Svanér saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute of the match, Rasmus Gernberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Krister Svanér saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Doctors of Dental Surgery were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Ankeborgs Plättarna's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nils-Emil Persson took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ankeborgs Plättarna's goalie and right to Ulrik Allbom. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ankeborgs Plättarna's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Krister Svanér took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rasmus Gernberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Arne Nordin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ankeborgs Plättarna's Krister Svanér proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Ankeborgs Plättarna from getting a goal against them. Krister Svanér made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rasmus Gernberg in the 34th minute of play. Doctors of Dental Surgery's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nils-Emil Persson in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute, Jens-Ove Näver made a precise shot to the right of Oliver Lundin. Doctors of Dental Surgery's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 42 minutes into the game, Ulrik Allbom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Doctors of Dental Surgery's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ankeborgs Plättarna the free kick. Ulrik Allbom kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Krister Svanér showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rasmus Gernberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 47th minute of the match Doctors of Dental Surgery got a corner. Ankeborgs Plättarna's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nils-Emil Persson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulrik Allbom was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Ankeborgs Plättarna's zone, Ulrik Allbom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Krister Svanér came out of the goal and Ulrik Allbom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Per-Åke Hjortsberg got a throw-in 54 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Michael Carlsson. Krister Svanér showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulrik Allbom in the 64th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Ankeborgs Plättarna were awarded a corner. Stig Malm went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 72nd minute Jens-Ove Näver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Lundin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Ove Näver in the 80th minute of play forced Doctors of Dental Surgery's goalkeeper Oliver Lundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Rasmus Gernberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Krister Svanér was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Doctors of Dental Surgery's Vidar Hamnberg was substituted for Nils-Emil Persson. Rasmus Gernberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Krister Svanér tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Ankeborgs Plättarna's goal looked a bit too open when Valter Nilsson came free, but Krister Svanér reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th match minute, Ankeborgs Plättarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ted Jonsson to maneuver through the defense. The Doctors of Dental Surgery supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ankeborgs Plättarna's performance. The match ended with a win for Ankeborgs Plättarna.
