Granö FK's 林希谦 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Åke Fransson in the 5th minute of play. Jacco Vorenkamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Witomir Werra having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Åke Fransson in the 13th minute of play forced Granö FK's goalkeeper 林希谦 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 林希谦 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Åke Fransson, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 林希谦 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Åke Fransson in the 17th minute of play. Charlie Landin kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Jacco Vorenkamp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Witomir Werra having to make a save. With a little luck, Skog's Witomir Werra got control of the ball when Jacco Vorenkamp tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, Granö FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacco Vorenkamp to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute Håkan Lingren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 林希谦 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Granö FK's Bertil Samuelsson got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Åke Johansson in the 36th minute of play forced Granö FK's goalkeeper 林希谦 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Per-Åke Johansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 林希谦 was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. 42 minutes into the match, Skog's goal looked a bit too open when Björn Hammarbäck came free, but Witomir Werra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bertil Samuelsson in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Witomir Werra saved Skog from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertil Samuelsson in the 58th minute of play forced Skog's goalkeeper Witomir Werra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Björn Hammarbäck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Granö FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Björn Hammarbäck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute Björn Hammarbäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Witomir Werra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 minutes Granö FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Per-Åke Johansson who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Skog's Per-Åke Johansson to fire away a dangerous shot which 林希谦 despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Åke Johansson in the 78th minute of play forced Granö FK's goalkeeper 林希谦 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Witomir Werra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Mjällby, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 89 played minutes Skog got a freekick which was hit by Charlie Landin. Björn Hammarbäck took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Witomir Werra. Witomir Werra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Granö FK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
