Fredric Tolsson kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Olle Dahlbom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Algot Bollström was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. 25 minutes into the match, Jack Lidström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emiliano Martínez. Vadstena's Emiliano Martínez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthon Söderström in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half RB Göteborg were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

RB Göteborg made a substitution. Sven-Erik Bergström replaced Thomas Håkansson. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anthon Söderström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vadstena's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jakob Aibert 52 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. Vadstena's Emiliano Martínez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Vadstena from getting a goal against them. Emiliano Martínez made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Sven-Erik Bergström sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th match minute Jack Lidström ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Emiliano Martínez. 0-6. A collision led to Vadstena getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Axel Käcker hit a great ball. Jack Lidström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emiliano Martínez. Vadstena's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 73rd minute of the match, Sven-Erik Bergström got a very nice opportunity to score, but Emiliano Martínez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Olle Dahlbom hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Jack Lidström's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Emiliano Martínez firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 83rd minute Olle Dahlbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Algot Bollström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90thth minute of the game Olle Dahlbom who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RB Göteborg's Algot Bollström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 94th minute Jakob Aibert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Martínez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Vadstena's Emiliano Martínez got control of the ball when Anthon Söderström tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 97th minute, Axel Käcker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Algot Bollström was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6.
