To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When FC Raven Saints's Jens-Erik Rydberg in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gullholmen's goalie prevented a goal. After 14 minutes, Jens-Erik Rydberg made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Gullholmen's David Morat tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kalle Walroth hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gullholmen's zone, Jens-Erik Rydberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Morat came out of the goal and Jens-Erik Rydberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Gullholmen getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Mats Björkman hit a great ball. David Morat didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jens-Erik Rydberg went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Jens-Erik Rydberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Morat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jens-Erik Rydberg ran back to his position shaking his head. When Jens-Erik Rydberg came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the FC Raven Saints fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens-Erik Rydberg couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Gullholmen getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Robert Paulin hit a great ball. FC Raven Saints's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kalle Walroth in the 40th minute. The corner led to FC Raven Saints's Kevin Ersman getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 42nd minute, Jan-Åke Bryngelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adam Johnsson in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Johan Ahlbom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

If Vilhelm Svanström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. David Morat came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Raven Saints's Vilhelm Svanström. But to his dismay, Vilhelm Svanström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The FC Raven Saints fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when FC Raven Saints's Vilhelm Svanström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kevin Ersman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Morat having to make a save. David Morat didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kalle Walroth went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. 74 minutes into the match, Kalle Walroth had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Morat. Gullholmen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kalle Walroth was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 78th minute, Kalle Walroth made a precise shot to the right of David Morat. Gullholmen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. 87 minutes into the match, Gullholmen's goal looked a bit too open when Kalle Walroth came free, but David Morat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Morat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kalle Walroth, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. David Morat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kalle Walroth's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Adam Johnsson notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of FC Raven Saints's Karl-Johan Ahlbom. Karl-Johan Ahlbom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
