If Timmy Glad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valer Ţopescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbain Richard, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Valer Ţopescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Urbain Richard went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Valer Ţopescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbain Richard in the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th match minute, Fight Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Lundhberg to maneuver through the defense. If Timmy Glad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fight Club's Valer Ţopescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergiu Teodoreanu in the 21st minute of play. Timmy Glad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valer Ţopescu having to interfere. Jarod Miquet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Per-Oskar Stor made a huge save. After having played for 29 minutes, Urbain Richard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zantos IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urbain Richard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Per-Oskar Stor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Jonsson in the 30th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Fight Club's Per-Oskar Stor threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Egil Sigfridsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Timmy Glad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fight Club's goalkeeper Valer Ţopescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zantos IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sven-Olof Gerdberg in the 39th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Fight Club's goalie and right to George Ros. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Fight Club's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Valer Ţopescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmy Glad in the 41st minute of play. Urbain Richard kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The Fight Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zantos IF were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Urbain Richard made the kick off in the second half. Sergiu Teodoreanu took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valer Ţopescu. Valer Ţopescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Sergiu Teodoreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Valer Ţopescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valer Ţopescu was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Sergiu Teodoreanu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sergiu Teodoreanu really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Valer Ţopescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Urbain Richard went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Urbain Richard had several of the Fight Club's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 69 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Valer Ţopescu as he didn't even see the shot coming. Sergiu Teodoreanu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-7 in the 72nd playminute. Valer Ţopescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbain Richard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Hydén in the 88th minute of play forced Zantos IF's goalkeeper Per-Oskar Stor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timmy Glad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Valer Ţopescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Zantos IF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Zantos IF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
