Karl-Johan Ahlbom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt-Åke Lindberg in the 2nd minute. Patrik Odén could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Karl-Johan Ahlbom made a huge save. Bengt-Åke Lindberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl-Johan Ahlbom having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Patrik Odén's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl-Johan Ahlbom was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Bengt-Åke Lindberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patrik Odén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Johan Ahlbom having to interfere. Karl-Johan Ahlbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Åke Lindberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Charles do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Erik Rydberg in the 20th minute of play. Patrik Odén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrik Odén in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Johan Ahlbom saved FC Raven Saints from getting behind. If Bengt-Åke Lindberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Marbäcks FF booed when FC Raven Saints was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Erik Rydberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Raven Saints made a substitution. Vilhelm Svanström replaced Jens-Erik Rydberg. With a little luck, FC Raven Saints's Karl-Johan Ahlbom got control of the ball when Bengt-Åke Lindberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 44th minute, Patrik Odén got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th match minute, Marbäcks FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ragnar Fransson to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 51st minute, Vilhelm Svanström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With 55 minutes on the clock, Fredrik Ström commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 55 minutes into the game, one of FC Raven Saints:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Marbäcks FF a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sten Engman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Raven Saints's Karl-Johan Ahlbom. 1-1. FC Raven Saints's Karl-Johan Ahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Åke Lindberg in the 62nd minute of play. Bengt-Åke Lindberg scored 2-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl-Johan Ahlbom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Patrik Odén's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Johan Ahlbom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, FC Raven Saints's Kalle Walroth sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charles do Vale narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Karl-Johan Ahlbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Odén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevin Ersman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles do Vale having to interfere. After 84 minutes of play, FC Raven Saints's Kalle Walroth made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Charles do Vale was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patrik Odén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Karl-Johan Ahlbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The FC Raven Saints players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Marbäcks FF from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
