Queens Park Rangers F.C's Zhang Yao Hui proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Queens Park Rangers F.C from getting a goal against them. Jens-Erik Rydberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zhang Yao Hui. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jens-Erik Rydberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Karl-Johan Ahlbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Bero in the 10th minute of play. Ruben Rishaug kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Nicasio Bero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Johan Ahlbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Jan-Åke Bryngelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Johan Ahlbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Bero in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Queens Park Rangers F.C booed when FC Raven Saints was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Ahlén didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, FC Raven Saints's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Bero came free, but Karl-Johan Ahlbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jens-Erik Rydbergs short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Zhang Yao Hui to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 41st minute Ruben Rishaug shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Johan Ahlbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jens-Erik Rydberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Zhang Yao Hui made a huge save. Queens Park Rangers F.C's Nicasio Bero got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Raven Saints made a substitution. Vilhelm Svanström replaced Jens-Erik Rydberg. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicasio Bero made a kick off. The supporters of Queens Park Rangers F.C booed when FC Raven Saints was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Ersman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruben Rishaug who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Karl-Johan Ahlbom when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Karl-Johan Ahlbom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruben Rishaug in the 57th minute. If Kalle Walroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Karl-Johan Ahlbom made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Ruben Rishaug sent off a good shot on target. Jan-Åke Bryngelsson hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the game, Henrik Browald was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Raven Saints's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Queens Park Rangers F.C the free kick. Karl-Johan Ahlbom went to the wrong direction when Nicasio Bero was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Kalle Walroth succeeded in the game's 66th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. FC Raven Saints's Kalle Walroth got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zhang Yao Hui came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Raven Saints's Kevin Ersman. But to his dismay, Kevin Ersman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ruben Rishaug fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Johan Ahlbom having to interfere. Queens Park Rangers F.C's Zhang Yao Hui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kalle Walroth in the 81st minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, FC Raven Saints's Kalle Walroth sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zhang Yao Hui narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zhang Yao Hui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kalle Walroth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th match minute, FC Raven Saints was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Browald to maneuver through the defense.
