After some careless play in the Gullholmen defense, Bengt-Åke Lindberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Morat. The Gullholmen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Morat should have stopped the shot. David Morat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bror Ålberg in the 15th minute of the match. Max Strandberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles do Vale having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Bengt-Åke Lindberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Morat. Gullholmen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bengt-Åke Lindberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Eric Brodin kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. David Morat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bengt-Åke Lindberg's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bror Ålberg in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Morat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 25 minutes, Bror Ålberg made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Gullholmen's David Morat tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 34 minutes, Bengt-Åke Lindberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marbäcks FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt-Åke Lindberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Gullholmen's Ingemar Skarkman got a free kick in the 37th minute. The audience was convinced that Bror Ålberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Morat was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. David Morat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Åke Lindberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Bengt-Åke Lindberg made the kick off in the second half. Marbäcks FF's Bengt-Åke Lindberg got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 53rd minute Bror Ålberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Morat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Bengt-Åke Lindberg took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for David Morat to make any attempt to save it. Bengt-Åke Lindberg succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 58th playminute. Max Strandberg kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Bengt-Åke Lindberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of David Morat, 0-7. The supporters of Marbäcks FF booed when Gullholmen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulf Hegg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bror Ålberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. David Morat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th match minute, Gullholmen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Strandberg to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Gullholmen's Eric Brodin got a free kick in the 80th minute. Agne Lindell struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. David Morat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marbäcks FF. David Morat was a little too slow when Bror Ålberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-8. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt-Åke Lindberg got free with David Morat in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonas Petersson kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Patrik Odén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. David Morat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marbäcks FF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
