The audience was convinced that Patrik Odén's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sten Muren was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Charles do Vale was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrik Odén in the 28th managed to get into a good position. Charles do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dick Holmgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The wind increased when Patrik Odén made the kick off in the second half. Sten Muren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Odén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torgny Giliusson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Muren having to interfere.
