Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Isaac Deckbergh successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience was convinced that Bruno Gines's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erling Ersman was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Carl Wahlström made a great header on Forward BK's corner, it was just that Skutans FK's Erling Ersman managed to reach the ball for a save. Erling Ersman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dana White, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nils-Emil Dahlgren kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. George Gullesson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Isaac Deckbergh came out and tried to block the shot, but George Gullesson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 20th minute. After 22 played minutes Forward BK got a freekick which was hit by Peter Ugla. In the 23rd match minute, Forward BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gottfrid Hermansson to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute Skutans FK were awarded a corner. Stefan Rang went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Stefan Rang got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Isaac Deckbergh quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Gines in the 33rd minute of play forced Skutans FK's goalkeeper Erling Ersman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Bruno Gines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erling Ersman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Ugla hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, Forward BK's goalkeeper Isaac Deckbergh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evert Billström. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Erik Hallgren made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Tommy Hake ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaac Deckbergh was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After a rather tough play, Skutans FK's Henrik Ahlbeck got a free kick in the 54th minute. Erling Ersman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruno Gines in the 58th minute. Isaac Deckbergh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Hallgren in the 59th minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Skutans FK's goal looked a bit too open when Verner Odin came free, but Erling Ersman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erik Hallgren hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Evert Billström's late challenge caught a Forward BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evert Billström helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Forward BK booed when Skutans FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert Billström didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Skutans FK's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Gines came free, but Erling Ersman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauricio Dacio in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erling Ersman saved Skutans FK from getting behind. In the 93rd minute, Evert Billström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 94 played minutes Forward BK got a freekick which was hit by Gottfrid Hermansson. Skutans FK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
