The audience thought a goal was coming when Evert Billström got free with Kenny Holmberg in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute, Karl-Oskar Holmberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute of the match, Erik Hallgren tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kenny Holmberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Oskar Holmberg in the 20th minute of play forced Skutans FK's goalkeeper Erling Ersman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stefan Rang went to the cornerflag to take it. After 44 played minutes Rallykalle IK got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Oskar Holmberg. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paris Sarantaris stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mikael Linquist helped the player get up and apologised. Erik Hallgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenny Holmberg having to interfere. The Skutans FK fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Skutans FK's Erik Hallgren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rallykalle IK's Kenny Holmberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evert Billström in the 87th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Hallgren in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kenny Holmberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kenny Holmberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Gullesson in the 89th minute of play. After 91 minutes of play, Skutans FK's Erik Hallgren made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kenny Holmberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stefan Rang kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Skutans FK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
