Johannes Dalgren was a little too slow when Karl-Åke Apelkvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Sollentuna's Stig-Arne Skålberg got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 53 minutes into the match, Sollentuna's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Wallgren came free, but Johannes Dalgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Kenny Alström notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Sollentuna's Johannes Dalgren. Johannes Dalgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 62nd match minute, Sollentuna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnny Jubel to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Kenny Alström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johannes Dalgren. Stig-Arne Skålberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Gustaf Henriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Jubilo Iwata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jens-Ola Fredriksson during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Jubilo Iwata booed when Sollentuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Ola Fredriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Jubilo Iwata players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
