The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Robert Billock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Söderström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Boni Mora managed to get in a good position for a shot. Milwaukee Bay FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Boni Mora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alf Björklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patric Delin took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alf Björklund. Alf Björklund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 11 minutes of play, Milwaukee Bay FC's Boni Mora made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alf Björklund was left in no man's land by his defense there! 19 minutes into the match, Boni Mora notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Gröna Stjärnan's Alf Björklund. Alf Björklund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Milwaukee Bay FC's Boni Mora in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boni Mora in the 38th minute of play forced Gröna Stjärnan's goalkeeper Alf Björklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alf Björklund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boni Mora went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Alf Björklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boni Mora in the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Patric Delin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alf Björklund. Gröna Stjärnan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patric Delin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. After the first half Milwaukee Bay FC were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Boni Mora was the one to do the kick off. Kasper Blomberg kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Wennerström in the 56th minute of play forced Milwaukee Bay FC's goalkeeper Robert Billock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Milwaukee Bay FC's Boni Mora slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alf Björklund. That made the score 0-8 after 59 minutes of play. When Milwaukee Bay FC's Boni Mora in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Gröna Stjärnan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alf Björklund should have stopped the shot. When Simon Wennerström came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Gröna Stjärnan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Wennerström couldn't finish the play. Anthon Nordin might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alf Björklund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anthon Nordin ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Gröna Stjärnan's zone, Patric Delin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alf Björklund came out of the goal and Patric Delin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the game, Boni Mora lined in a short shot 0-12 behind a frustrated Alf Björklund. The supporters of Milwaukee Bay FC booed when Gröna Stjärnan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell Lundgren didn't get a good kick on the ball.
