Spectators: 7821 (Terracing: 5867, Seating: 1798, VIP seats: 156) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gratien Étoile started the match with the kick off. Ezra Swenson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Sandström in the 4th minute of play. Gratien Étoile fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarl Andreasson having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Ronny Ek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, PHammar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Odin came free, but Ezra Swenson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute of the match AIF got a corner. PHammar FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ulf Ekström ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on AIF's corner Emanuel Månsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ezra Swenson quite easily take care of the ball. Åke Åberg kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Odin in the 22nd minute of play forced PHammar FC's goalkeeper Ezra Swenson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarl Andreasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Åberg in the 28th minute of play. AIF's Jarl Andreasson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save AIF from getting a goal against them. Jarl Andreasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wit Wojtkiewicz in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind PHammar FC's goalkeeper Ezra Swenson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 38 minutes into the game, Alfred Sandström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ezra Swenson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 47 minutes of play, AIF's Emanuel Månsson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ezra Swenson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfred Sandström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. AIF's Jarl Andreasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Åberg in the 54th minute of play. Åke Åberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jarl Andreasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfred Sandström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AIF's Emanuel Månsson got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Arman Westerstrand fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PHammar FC's protests and gave Arman Westerstrand a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, AIF's Leonardo Hydén got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Jarl Andreasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gratien Étoile, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Roger Vallgren got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jarl Andreasson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Ezra Swenson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by PHammar FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ulf Ekström was slow to take the kick. During this time AIF's players had a chance to rest. Ezra Swenson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Sandström in the 70th minute of play. Emanuel Månsson scored 0-3 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ezra Swenson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 74thth minute of the game Alfred Sandström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PHammar FC's Ezra Swenson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alfred Sandström was extremely unlucky when he, in the 77th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jarl Andreasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Åberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Åke Åberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jarl Andreasson was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Ezra Swenson made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Erik Odin sent off a good shot on target. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
