Spectators: 7701 (Terracing: 5777, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jens-Ola Bergström got the match started through his kick off. With an all-out effort, FC Hamodi's Henric Lundström threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Erling Brandt, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 10th match minute, Gamla Köpstad FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Langås to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Ambjörnsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henric Lundström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute of the match FC Hamodi got a corner. Gamla Köpstad FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jens-Ola Bergström ran over to the corner to take the kick. Henric Lundström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erling Brandt in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Felix Brander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Sigge Fürst left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gamla Köpstad FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 24thth minute of the game Jonatan Böcklund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Hamodi's Ingemar Klint was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Erling Brandt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Henric Lundström. That made the score 1-1 in the 25 minute of play. Henric Lundström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erling Brandt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jens-Ola Bergström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henric Lundström having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Hamodi's Edgar Ambjörnsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henric Lundström. That made the score 2-1 after 34 minutes of play. Henric Lundström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ola Bergström, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gamla Köpstad FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jens-Ola Bergström was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Hamodi's players had a chance to rest. Gamla Köpstad FC's Henric Lundström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Gamla Köpstad FC from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd minute Jens-Ola Bergström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henric Lundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Jonatan Böcklund notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of FC Hamodi's Ingemar Klint. Ingemar Klint was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The crowd rose to their feet as Sigge Fürst kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ingemar Klint. That made the score 2-3 in the 55 minute of play. Henric Lundström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erling Brandt, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The supporters of Gamla Köpstad FC booed when FC Hamodi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ted Nordin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 played minutes Gamla Köpstad FC got a freekick which was hit by Evert Markusson. Henric Lundström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Ambjörnsson in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Evert Markusson made a precise shot to the right of Ingemar Klint. FC Hamodi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. 75 minutes into the match, Gamla Köpstad FC's Andreas Söderquist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ingemar Klint narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Henric Lundström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erling Brandt, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Hamodi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! Andreas Söderquist might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ingemar Klint. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andreas Söderquist ran back to his position shaking his head. After 98 played minutes Gamla Köpstad FC got a freekick which was hit by Evert Markusson. The Gamla Köpstad FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
