Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gelu Băcila got the match started through his kick off. Sabin Albu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alf Björklund having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Sabin Albu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alf Björklund was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Alf Björklund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sabin Albu went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. If Martin Söderström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gelu Băcila might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alf Björklund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gelu Băcila ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Gröna Stjärnan's zone, Gelu Băcila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alf Björklund came out of the goal and Gelu Băcila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute, Sabin Albu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alf Björklund was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Sabin Albu took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alf Björklund. Alf Björklund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Sabin Albu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Söderström charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Söderström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes Gröna Stjärnan got a freekick which was hit by Martin Söderström. Alf Björklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelu Băcila in the 47th minute of the match. The Gröna Stjärnan players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Avesta were winning 0-6.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Söderström to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabin Albu in the 51st minute of play forced Gröna Stjärnan's goalkeeper Alf Björklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calle Asklund hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Gröna Stjärnan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Sabin Albu scored to the left of an out of position Alf Björklund, making the score, 0-7. Radomil Kolacki charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radomil Kolacki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Gröna Stjärnan booed when Avesta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomil Kolacki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gelu Băcila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Alf Björklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alf Björklund came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Avesta's Gelu Băcila. But to his dismay, Gelu Băcila quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Alf Björklund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sabin Albu went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Avesta's Sabin Albu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alf Björklund. That made the score 0-10 after 70 minutes of play. Sabin Albu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sivert Andberg during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th minute, Sivert Andberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sabin Albu struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Alf Björklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avesta. A hard shot 82 in the game by Gelu Băcila from a close distance when the talented Alf Björklund managed to make a qualified save. Gröna Stjärnan's players were relieved. After some careless play in the Gröna Stjärnan defense, Sabin Albu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alf Björklund. The Gröna Stjärnan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alf Björklund should have stopped the shot. In the 91st match minute, Avesta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viggo Carlsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gröna Stjärnan's goalkeeper Alf Björklund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match was over Avesta could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gröna Stjärnan throughout the match.
