Åke Åbergs short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Alf Björklund to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sivert Andberg got his second yellow card in the match during the 73rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. If Gratien Étoile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
