Spectators: 7690 (Terracing: 5768, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dennis Löv kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Martin Birila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Sandström in the 7th minute of play forced G-Torp FF's goalkeeper Dida Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AIF were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after G-Torp FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ulf Ekström took the corner. The corner led AIF's Edgar Fransson to fire away a dangerous shot which Dida Medeiros despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 16 played minutes G-Torp FF got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Lövskog. In the 17th minute of the match Ulf Ekström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dida Medeiros skillfully saved the ball. In the 19th minute Erik Odin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dida Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Odin, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute of the match AIF got a corner. G-Torp FF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ulf Ekström ran over to the corner to take the kick. When AIF's Erik Odin in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye G-Torp FF's goalie prevented a goal. 29 minutes into the match, Erik Odin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dida Medeiros. G-Torp FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erik Odin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Erik Odin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute of the match Dennis Löv sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jarl Andreasson skillfully saved the ball. Marcus Kjellman hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Alfred Sandström took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dida Medeiros. Dida Medeiros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When Karl-Åke Vibjörnsson fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored G-Torp FF's protests and gave Karl-Åke Vibjörnsson a yellow card for diving instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Erik Odin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dida Medeiros was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alfred Sandström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 54 minute of play. G-Torp FF's Dida Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Sandström in the 58th minute of play. Jarl Andreasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Löv, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Åke Vibjörnsson hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute Ulf Ekström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, G-Torp FF's Dida Medeiros got control of the ball when Erik Odin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 66th match minute, G-Torp FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Åke Vibjörnsson to maneuver through the defense. Ulf Ekström, 67 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Per Biörling hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Jarl Andreasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Birila, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 78th match minute, AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Fransson to maneuver through the defense. Dennis Löv's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jarl Andreasson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Erik Odin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Karl-Åke Vibjörnsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcus Kjellman hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Dida Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Sandström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over AIF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than G-Torp FF throughout the match.
