Erik Odin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the AIF defense, Lucio Patxi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olov Linquist. The AIF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olov Linquist should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Odin in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kalju Kits saved Skeninge ik from getting behind. In the 34th minute Alfred Sandström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kalju Kits saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Odin struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Kalju Kits didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AIF. AIF's Alfred Sandström suffered a concussion in the 37th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jörgen Lövskog during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. AIF made a substitution. Jerry Kullgren replaced Alfred Sandström. In the 37th minute, one of Skeninge ik:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Skeninge ik. Kalju Kits didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when AIF's Jerry Kullgren shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-2 in the ordered_time% minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Olle Eskilsson made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Jerry Kullgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kalju Kits was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. If Lucio Patxi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Skeninge ik's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erik Odin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. The audience was convinced that Erik Odin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kalju Kits was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. After 68 minutes of play, AIF's Erik Odin made it 7-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kalju Kits was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kalju Kits made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Kullgren in the 72nd minute of play. Kalju Kits didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jerry Kullgren went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-2 was the resulting score. Skeninge ik's Kalju Kits played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Odin in the 75th minute of play. After 76 minutes, Sven-Edvin Mogren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AIF and the Skeninge ik players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, AIF's Sven-Edvin Mogren got a free kick in the 76th minute. Lucio Patxi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Olov Linquist made a huge save. After 80 minutes of play, Skeninge ik's Kalle Krabber made it 8-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olov Linquist was left in no man's land by his defense there! 85 minutes into the game, Ulf Ekström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AIF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skeninge ik the free kick. The supporters of Skeninge ik booed when AIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulf Ekström didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to AIF getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Sven-Edvin Mogren hit a great ball. Kalju Kits made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Månsson in the 95th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, AIF's goalkeeper Olov Linquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucio Patxi. In the 97th minute, Mark Forsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucio Patxi got free with Olov Linquist in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. AIF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
