An unexpectedly hard shot by Iivo Puistola in the 13th minute of play forced Grimsås IF's goalkeeper Ali Baran Koçak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th match minute, Grimsås IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johan Mjällby to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute of the match Slim Joachim sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ali Baran Koçak skillfully saved the ball. Emil Gustafsson struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Daniel Henriksson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grimsås IF. After a defensive mix-up in Grimsås IF's zone, Iivo Puistola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Baran Koçak came out of the goal and Iivo Puistola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Andy Lindholm took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Daniel Henriksson to make any attempt to save it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 57th match minute, Calcio U21 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Björkqvist to maneuver through the defense. Robin Quejo scored 3-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Henriksson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ali Baran Koçak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iivo Puistola in the 67th minute. Daniel Henriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Lindholm, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute of the match Grimsås IF got a corner. Calcio U21's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Róbert Dávid ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Róbert Dávid got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Daniel Henriksson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Grimsås IF's Ali Baran Koçak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iivo Puistola in the 73rd minute of play. Ali Baran Koçak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Ahlbeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hans Björkqvist hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Calcio U21's Ali Baran Koçak threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iivo Puistola, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Andy Lindholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 83rd match minute, Calcio U21 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pär Vallin to maneuver through the defense. Andy Lindholm's late challenge caught a Calcio U21's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andy Lindholm helped the player get up and apologised. After 84 played minutes Grimsås IF got a freekick which was hit by Andy Lindholm. In the 87th minute of the game Johan Mjällby made a throw-in which Emil Gustafsson played forward. If Emil Gustafsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game was made by Johan Mjällby with Robin Quejo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Calcio U21's Ian Torstensson got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Ian Torstensson off the ground. Ian Torstensson kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Grimsås IF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
