Ove Anselius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Beltrán, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 12 minutes of play, Vetevendosje FC's Rafal Cichewski made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ove Anselius was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ove Anselius stood somewhat misplaced when Lucas Beltrán came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 18 minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Rafal Cichewski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ove Anselius. That made the score 3-0 in the 21 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Beltrán in the 24th minute of play forced Gunnah FC's goalkeeper Ove Anselius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roland Rosendahl got free with Ove Anselius in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ove Anselius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Smolarek's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 30th minute, Vetevendosje FC's Lucas Beltrán dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. In the 39th match minute, Vetevendosje FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenneth Lundberg to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Timo's late challenge caught a Vetevendosje FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Timo helped the player get up and apologised. Vetevendosje FC's Jan Smolarek got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ove Anselius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roland Rosendahl in the 47th minute.

The referee felt a red card was in order, 51 minutes into the game, when Ian Alstedt put in a rough tackle. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vetevendosje FC's goalkeeper Eşref Tuney, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 66 minutes into the game, Roland Rosendahl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Ove Anselius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rafal Cichewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Vetevendosje FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Kenneth Lundberg hit a great ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Gunnah FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafal Cichewski came free, but Ove Anselius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
