A wasted opportunity for IFK Tallkotte. 27 minutes into the match, Varnhem IK's goal looked a bit too open when Rasmus Ahlqvist came free, but Aron Arhenius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aron Arhenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Sjögren, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Nordlund in the 31st minute of play forced Varnhem IK's goalkeeper Aron Arhenius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tommy Ahlgren to make the kick off. Tommy Ahlgren in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aron Arhenius, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Aron Arhenius was a little too slow when Adrian Nordlund got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-1. Joakim Isaksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daho Arrache, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Varnhem IK's goalkeeper Aron Arhenius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tommy Ahlgren. After some careless play in the Varnhem IK defense, Tommy Ahlgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aron Arhenius. The Varnhem IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aron Arhenius should have stopped the shot. Tom Olofsson hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. With his leg Aron Arhenius managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when IFK Tallkotte's Tommy Ahlgren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daho Arrache in the 69th minute of play forced IFK Tallkotte's goalkeeper Joakim Isaksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aron Arhenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Nordlund in the 70th minute of play. Joakim Isaksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daho Arrache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes in the game, Sven Månsson dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. If Daho Arrache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Andréas Hedlund fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Varnhem IK's protests and gave Andréas Hedlund a yellow card for diving instead. Aron Arhenius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rasmus Ahlqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, one of Varnhem IK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Varnhem IK. In the 89th minute there was a penalty for IFK Tallkotte. Lukas Isaksson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aron Arhenius. 0-3. 93 minutes into the match, IFK Tallkotte's goal looked a bit too open when Daho Arrache came free, but Joakim Isaksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Varnhem IK's Kenny Sundberg got a free kick in the 97th minute. In the 98th minute, IFK Tallkotte's Lukas Isaksson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. The IFK Tallkotte supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing IFK Tallkotte would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
