Gunnah FC's Ove Anselius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Gunnah FC from getting a goal against them. Aron Arhenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Rolado, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Aron Arhenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agne Andberg in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute Ingvar Nyman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Arhenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agne Andberg in the 14th minute of play forced Varnhem IK's goalkeeper Aron Arhenius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Rolado in the 15th minute of play forced Varnhem IK's goalkeeper Aron Arhenius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo Rolado took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aron Arhenius. Aron Arhenius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Aron Arhenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Nyman, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When Benjamin Kämpe fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Varnhem IK's protests and gave Benjamin Kämpe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd match minute, Varnhem IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Koch to maneuver through the defense. Aron Arhenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agne Andberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 24 minutes, Inge Lager mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Varnhem IK and the Gunnah FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Varnhem IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inge Lager to maneuver through the defense. Ingvar Nyman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Varnhem IK's Aron Arhenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Rolado in the 30th minute of play. After 33 played minutes Gunnah FC got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Arne Albäck. In the 34th match minute, Gunnah FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joélson Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. Agne Andberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Varnhem IK's Aron Arhenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agne Andberg in the 39th minute of play. Aron Arhenius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Nyman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Varnhem IK's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Nyman came free, but Aron Arhenius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th match minute, Varnhem IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johannes Tunström to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Gunnah FC's Ingvar Nyman got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 46th minute, Gunnah FC's Ingvar Nyman fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Aron Arhenius was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ingvar Nyman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gunnar Norström placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 62 minutes into the match, Varnhem IK's goalkeeper Aron Arhenius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ingvar Nyman. Arnaldo Rolado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Aron Arhenius made a huge save. If Agne Andberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aron Arhenius made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Ingvar Nyman sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute, Joélson Sabóia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Rolado in the 93rd minute of play forced Varnhem IK's goalkeeper Aron Arhenius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Gunnah FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Varnhem IK throughout the match.
