Magnus Löfdahl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deje. With a little luck, Electric Sharks's Magnus Löfdahl got control of the ball when Kurt Åkerman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th minute Per-Åke Johansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Wallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henric Svanström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magnus Löfdahl having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Åke Johansson in the 33rd minute of play forced Deje's goalkeeper Jim Wallin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 35th minute of the game was made by Reine Åberg with Frank Gustafsson as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a rather tough play, Electric Sharks's Reine Åberg got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute, Emanuel Soned hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Magnus Löfdahl made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Kurt Åkerman sent off a good shot on target. If Henric Svanström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th match minute, Deje was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredrik Hellström to maneuver through the defense. Frank Gustafsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per-Åke Johansson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Henric Svanström came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Deje fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henric Svanström couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Per-Åke Johansson in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jim Wallin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Henric Svanström came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Deje fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henric Svanström couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Electric Sharks defense, Henric Svanström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Magnus Löfdahl. The Electric Sharks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Magnus Löfdahl should have stopped the shot. Henric Svanström struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Jim Wallin came out and tried to block the shot, but Frank Gustafsson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 79th minute. Frank Gustafsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jim Wallin having to make a save. Fred Petersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jim Wallin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fred Petersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Axel Isaksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Electric Sharks supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Electric Sharks would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
