Henric Svanström might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eşref Tuney. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henric Svanström ran back to his position shaking his head. 11 minutes into the match, Vetevendosje FC's goal looked a bit too open when Henric Svanström came free, but Eşref Tuney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hjalmar Petersson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Jim Wallin 12 minutes into the match. Andy Eklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Wallin having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Hjalmar Petersson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jim Wallin was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Vetevendosje FC's Andy Eklund got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andy Eklunds short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Jim Wallin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kurt Åkerman kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Andy Eklund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jim Wallin was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eşref Tuney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henric Svanström in the 86th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Hjalmar Petersson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vetevendosje FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hjalmar Petersson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jim Wallin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Deje players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vetevendosje FC.
